LCSC Silverthorne Theatre April 9-11, 16-18

Also known as "The Impostor", Tartuffe is the story of a man who poses as a devout religious instructor in order to bilk a family of its fortune -- and to have his way with the lady of the house while setting himself up to marry her stepdaughter. The lady's mother-in-law and husband are completely under the spell of this scheming Svengali and deaf to the rest of the family's protests about Tartuffe's true nature and plotting. When the husband gives everything to Tartuffe in a deed of gift only a miracle will be able to keep the family from the poorhouse!
